Today I discovered and consumed what is most arguably the most delicious thing I've eaten this year! I don't know what it is no..wait... it was called a meringue or something similar(in no mood to lookup the correct name). It was nutty (like me!) and had 3 beautiful layers of delicious dark chocolate and it was heavenly... too bad I had to share it! :o(

life certainly is going on as it always does. fast approaching the halfway mark of the year.

A good friend of mine has come on her annual visit with her hubby from England. even though it had been 3 weeks since she landed on our fair shores it was at a dance performance that I saw her. quite the bit accidental. The performance was by my "on stage sister", and a brilliant one at that. poor thing got so emotional when giving thanks she ran off and delivered the speech from behind the curtains. getting back to the story of my friend:I asked my hubby - since my friend had turned down an invite to go out to eat and asked if we could come see them at their place - if we could meet them. Hubby patiently pointed out that:

1. It had been 3 weeks since they landed, she had not called me up.
2. Just as on her 2 previous visits, she had turned down the invite for a night out.
3. It's always "us" chasing up or going to meet them.

I know with friends these things don't matter and people on holidays are short with time, but at the same time saw the truth of hubby's words. WHAT is a gal to do?

Aha! I know it for sure now...I have such an unstable mind that it is actually disturbing. ;o)

yesterday and the day before I was all panicky and apprehensive for no apparent reason and wanted to go curl up in mom's lap. but today..Behold! the inane grin...again without reason. I do not want to smile so much because I am scared that it will bring upon me some wrath...ok ok..some unwelcome thingie. but like everything this too shall pass.(hmm...must cut back on the coffee and the philosophical discussions!!)life goes on with work. ppl are moving out(YEY!!), and hopefully the much missed privacy will soon be ours to have & to hold once again.

nostalgic moments seem to be the thing of the week!

good thing tho' is that life goes on, whether u like it or not.

Oh!Man....they've hung this huge Disco ball on the Harbour Bridge. the Disco ball apparently weighs 2 tons!! it's nice to look at. especially in the morning and evening sun when it dazzles..it's like a thousand flashes going off in a dark stadium. it's gorgeous with that effect on display.

p.s: work goes fine..with nothing much to do..what better for the Queen of bludging? ;o)
